Where I’ll be…

After hiding behind my computer for months on end, I will actually be participating in four completely different events over the next four weeks.

This Friday, I’ll be talking to the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society in fabulous Philadelphia, PA.  I’ll be talking about the genesis of the Kirk Polland Memorial Bad Prose Competition, among other things.  When I get back from Philly, I’ll post a little something about it, along with an explanation of the actual competition for those readers who have not yet been properly indoctrinated.

The following Sunday (October 26), I’ll be participating in a Not-Quite-Kirk-Polland panel for Pandemonium Books and Games’ Geek Central in Central Square, Cambridge, MA.  This should happen at noon, at the Central Square YMCA.  Trust me, come to this and you’ll see bad prose taken in a completely different direction!  There is a Geek Central website.  It doesn’t list our event as of yet, but it WILL happen!

The Saturday after that, I’ll be one of the folks reading at a special event in New Hampshire to support the Odyssey SF Writing Workshop.  This event also doesn’t have any web info, but I’ll find out more about it and pass it along.

The week after that (whew!) I’ll be attending the World Fantasy Convention outside of Washington, DC.  So feel free to stop in at any or all of the above events and say hello!
